How can I go about finding out if mobile detailing is legal in my area? I live close to lake Norman and was wondering if I had to reclaim any waste water/chemicals that I may use.
 
My guess is call your city offices/city hall and go from there. They deal with all of that kind of stuff and will either transfer you to the right city department or give you a number to call more than likely.
 
Basically what DetailGirl said. Most cities still do not restrict mobile detailing, but enough do that it is worth a call to make sure what restrictions (if any) you are required to follow.
 
I'm considering the same thing and the only thing that is close to a restriction that i've run into so far is water supply. Some places won't allow you to use their water supply such as businesses / apartment complexes therefore causing you some problems. I've heard of people having their own water supply but that is something i'm looking into as of now. So if anyone has info about that I think that would help me and usmcski out :D
