Mobile detailing truck and/or trailer questions

Dan's Detailing
After my nasty divorce I have been left without a business , vehicle or much to my name at all. I have been building myself back up and am in now in a position to start a mobile detailing business up here in Wisconsin.

I'd love to see pictures and / or descriptions of trailer setups fro mobile detailing.

How are you guys setup?

5x8 trailer, 125 gallon tank, husky toolbox, 5500 watt porter cable generator, honda gear driven washer 3000 psi set up to recycle back to the tank, got the reel with 100 ft of hose, Mytee hp-100 steamer, e-z-up canopy.

Those are the basics to my rig.

where did you get the poly tank? I have got to get a generator yet , a tank and hose/reel. My pressure washer if a 6.0hp 3000 PSI gas unit, but I am unclear how to make the water return to the tank liek the one guy above has..

I saw a cool, hard plastic, truck toolbox that was really cheap at Wal-mart the other day, it was think it was in the tool section. But it was only like 40 bucks maybe, it looked nice and tough too. just an idea for anyone looking to build one.

Yep, the hose reel I am getting is just like yours.

We do have a tractor supply by us I will check it out thanks!

I got my pressure washer from checker Auto parts, I will run by there and see what they ave for generators. I want to run my extractor off of the generator too, but the heater alone is 2000 watts, so I am assumign I will need a 4800-5000 watt generator right?

You can usually get them from a farm store or irrigation store. As for running teh bypass back to the tank, it is easy. Wha tyou need to do is to take the bypass hose, which is the Non reinforced hose off of the unloader, off of the side that goes to the pump inlet. You will need a hose to replace it long enough torun to your tank. And then just run it back to your tank. You can use a bulkhead fitting to put in the tank so that it looks clean, or you can dump it in the top. Typicaly, that is all you need to do. Sometimes you need to put a restrictor in to provide some back pressure for the unloader to work properly, but you probably will not. You will need to put a plug with teflon tape for a really good seal on the inlet side. You do not want any air leaking into your machine. It will create a lot of night mares for you, if you do.
