When you're performing a full detail 4-5 plus hours what do you do if you have to use the facilities?

Do you ask the customer, or do you shut it down and find the nearest public facilities?

Either. I mainly do work at office parks, so there really is no problem. But, if I am at a residence, I would try to hold it, and if I can't, I do not hesitate in asking the customer politely if I can use there bathroom.:o

As ajbarnes said...if working in an office park the building will 9 times out of 10 have a public bathroom on the ground floor. When working at a private residence I'll ask the client politely if I can use their restroom. ALWAYS compliment them on how nice their house is even if it is a mess.;)

When I schedule a detail at a residence my first question to the client is.....Will someone be home while I'm working and my second question is; May I use a bathroom when necessary. When the client is home the response has always been....."Of course" When no one is there I make other arrangements:rolleyes:

I just water their plants ;)

Seriously, people are more then generous as far as allowing you to use their bathroom. However, NEVER do I drop a deuce there! :scared

I have a number of people offering to make me lunch too! I always politely say no.

Ive nearly lost it in my shorts while at a clients house....They had left for a bit, i thought i could hold it, hehehehe......I had to litteraly throw my stuff in my truck and haul butt to the nearest park.......

Its amazing the work you can do when your not under pressure.....

plus u never know...u might find that...yellow water *cough* heheh gives paint and glass a nice shine hehehe

Could be used as a QD.........

A little Vanilla smell and I may be on to something ???

My brother-in-law is a builder and when he gets desperate at peoples houses, he just locks himself into the back of his van and crouches over the emptiest bucket! I've seen the back of his van, it's a right mess - but he says it's cleaner than most people's bathrooms!
