Mitsubishi Lancer Black. not ES.

Steps:

Wash/dry

Cleaned engine (simple green)

cleaned inteior (woolite)

Polish (Menzerna IP), could use FPII but needed a extra pass but i got lazy.

Straight to Wax. Meguairs NXT Paste.

Dressed Tires: Meguairs Hotshine Spray (non-aerosol)

Any suggestions? I had a problem with the wax leaving behind like a black haze. it's probably because i'm using too much. You can see it on some of the photos. The mitsubishi paint is really soft. Most of all the scratches came out with IP.

Here are some pictures. I'll try to match the before afters up. They're hosted on Facebook :nixweiss

I finished around 8 oclock and the picture was taken at flickenger park, in san jose CA. I'll try to take some more tomorrow but i don't know if my customer will be available.

I quoted him for $125.

Looks good. How long did it take you, sounds like 125 might have been a little low.

Took me about 4 hours, started at 3:30, and ended around 7:30. $125 is low, i was trying to get my name out there a little bit and try to make myself a portfolio. He was a friend of mine, and since we're still students, money is hard to come by. So I didn't want to feel bad charging him more for someone who doesn't have money to start with. Thanks for the comment.

Pretty good job on those swirls!

The trick with NXT is very thin layers, allow to set for 10-15 minutes, then remove. That should take care of any hazing issues.

i probably applied too much at once. I reload the pad about every 2 feet. i'll try to extend it next time. Thanks. The wax is really great.
