Now this car was a 3 day project. Car belongs to a very good friend of mine that needed help with some scratches and swirls. I'm such a sucker for black cars, but having to work on them...ehhh.

Interior was just a quick vacuum and wipe down. Some oil stains needed to be removed from the driver carpets. Nothin big.

Done.

And dont worry about the rims, tires, and wells. I was told not to touch it yet.

Thanks for viewing

Yup stiffdogg. Just the heavy scratches. And the Pizazz, I really like it. And like Anthony Orosco(i think thats how you spell it) told me, its a very underrated wax.

That's a pretty big improvement!! As Bryan said, wetsanding is very time consuming and cannot be rushed. The results you achieve in the end are definitely worth it. Your friend must be happy with the results.

Nice work!

To everyone that questioned how the car got like that, yes it was keyed and keyed bad. The story was, he was followed on the freeway all the way to the bowling alley. Why do people stoop so low? At least this work saved him from getting a repaint.

Honestly, I didnt think that the car was going to take this long. But like you all said, this isn't something that you want to rush through.

Funny story during the process. Doing the driver side fender, I wetsanded, then hit it with wool. After that, i thought i had burned through the paint because there was this very dull patch. Polished that area and paint had appeared. Whew, I freaked out when i saw that.

Really impressive recovery . That is such a nice car too bad that are people that can do that .

Amazing work . That wet sandsing looks like the answer .

Cheers , Jean Paul

John, ::bow:: I hate wetsanding just because i'm always scared of going through the clear. I can't believe you got those scratches out like that. You didn't even have to touch up at all? I had a customer that had those scratches but I had to touch up before I sanded it down.

The car looks awesome man. You should see how many cars get scratched up here in East San Jose.

Thanks Sam. I was amazed at how many scratches were removed without the need of touch up paint. But there are still some of the heavier scratches that i just wasn't too comfortable removing.
