It's been a while since I've posted a write up. Life's been kinda hectic the last year or so, my dad was diagnosed with advanced Alheizmers and then passed away at the end of October of last year so between work, and helping my mom adjust life's been crazy to say the least. Anyway, on to the detail itself. This is was for a long time customer who has me take care of his fleet of cars a couple times a year and I got an email saying that he had acquired a new steed to the fleet and what a beauty he found! A beautiful 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider.
The customer did a great job of washing it for me. I did however go over the entire car usingNanoSkin fine grade pad to ensure that I had the best prepped surface possible.
On to the pics:
A beautiful prancing horse in a pasture of carbon fibre, minor swirling in the paint.
Great looking decent but the customer wanted to take it to 90%+
Tools for deeper defects:
Griots 6" DA Polisher
Meguiars DA 5.5" Microfiber Cutting Discs
Meguiars 5" DA backing plate
Meguiars 105
My throne for ~7 hrs of polishing and an irreplacable part of my arsenal.
Working on the tighter areas had to break out:
3" LC Backing Plate
LC 3" Hydrotech Cyan Pads
Followed by LC 3" Hydrotech Tangerine Pads
Tires were dressed with Optimum Optibond.
Look at those beautiful carbon ceramic brakes peaking thru those perfectly polished and dressed wheels
The customer plans on driving this car several times a week and wanted the paint sealed with something that could provide excellent protection and also allow other sealants to be layered on top. So we decided that 22PLE would provide the level of protection he was going for.
Waiting the 4 minute cure time before buffing off the excess. What an easy to use product! It was a breeze to work with! I highly recommend it!
All buffed off and WOW what a glow it gave to the paint!
What a wonderful badonkadonk this beautiful Italian has on her!
Wiped down the engine with 303. Isn't that a site you could just stare at all day?
