I found a place where I can get Meguiars locally, I'm looking for something similar to like SSR2 to try on some light maybe somewhat medium swirls on a 2007 Honda Fit Vivid Blue Pearl in color using my PC..I have Propel pads, blue, green, orange, and god forbid I ever have to..Yellow. I have some Klasse, some SSR1, some UPP, and also found some Collinite that I plan on using once I bust the swirls out. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks, Josh

Two tips Re #2:

Get the new version that's hand/PC friendly.

Plan on doing a follow-up with a milder product like #80.

Ahh so its pretty rough then even more so or less than #83? I'm thinking maybe #80 should do this job at most with a light cutting pad, I think if I have to do a follow up its way to agressive for the work I'm focusing on right now. Thank you for your reply helps alot

I can't really say about the #2/#83 comparison, I'd expect the #2 to be a bit more aggressive but I honestly don't know. The #80 is pretty mild though, at least if you're not working on very soft paint. But I myself only use #80 with mild enough pads that I can get a ready-to-wax finish, and that might be milder than your light cutting pad.

#2 is better than #83 in almost every way. It has almost an identical cut and finish, but it will not have any of the gumming issues that are associated with #83. It will stay wet longer, and does not seem to be affect by humidity the way #83 is. It will however tend to dust a bit more than #83, but not much.

Can more people confirm this? I'd like to know if this is true for sure.
