Had this customer referred to me about getting his car shined up. Was in pretty decent shape over-all, since its only a 2006 with 12k miles on it. Customer just wanted it cleaned up and looking good for when he drives it once a week or so. So I just did a two step polish on it to get the paint nice and glossy for a solid coat of wax.

Not much in the way of befores since it was already pretty clean when it got to me... Unforently no sun spot afters since the sun was already behind the house. Paint cleaned up rather nicely. Landed around 80% correction and removed all the holograms.

Process:

Wash:

Foamed via AG Foam Gun w/ CG Citrous Wash'N'Gloss

Hand Washed TBM w/ CG Microfiber Wash Mitt w/ Megs Hyper Car Wash

Rims done w/ Diablo Wheel Gel

Clayed w/ Pinn. Ultra Poly Clay

Buffed:

LC Tang. Hydro Tech Pad via GG DA Speed 6 w/ M205 *did some amazing correction on the paint with 6-7 section passes with the first three passes with KBM*

LC Gold via GG DA Speed 5 w/ Super Finish

Waxed w/ Concourse 50/50.

Windows w/ Stoners Rainx

Tires w/ Pinn. Black Onxy Wheel Gel

Exhaust w/ Adam's Metal Polish

Great job on that one, eventhough it was in good shape initially, the outcome was just super glossy. :)

Yeah that was pretty much what I was after. Was as much correction with as much as gloss as possible.

Fantastic gloss out of that color! :bow

Thankfully Lotuses clean up pretty easy.

Yeah they are pretty simple cars to work on.

How easy is that paint to work (the little that there is)? Great job man..

Paint actually quite easily with a Hydro Tech Tangerine pad.

Looking good Connor! Q: Why did you choose Wash n' Gloss to foam the car with??

Wash'N'Gloss foams the best and does a great job of removing any old waxes or buffing dust. Any other time I use Hyper Wash.
