Mirror Detailing Avalanche

This finally made me realize my 5mp is just not cutting it anymore. Really need to get a better camera. Will hopefully have a good 7.1 or 10 mp Point and Shoot in the next 2-3 weeks!

Anyways...

Just a simple Christmas Present for my mom. She has been wanting to get a full detail done on her DD 03 Avalanche. Has 73k on the clock and never been done.

Always used M105/205 combo's or 3M/Menzerna combo mixes. Well I finally caved in, after M105/205 has not been making me happy lately, and bought the whole Menzerna line, and the only thing I can say is....I am in love. I will NOT be going back to M105/205 anymore. Menzerna to me was just better in EVERY single catagory.

This one was done all via a Dewalt 849, till I get my GG HD DA next week to add to the processes.

SIP/LC Orange

SIP/LC White - only certain panels needed that extra cut

Super Finish/LC Gray

Ultrafine/Mirror Glaze Diamond Cut Pad

Nice Coat of Souveran

No interior shots...but interior was done with 1Z Cockpit(dash, center console, all plastic panels), and all the leather seats where done with the Leatherique Kit.

Some befores:

After first buff...

After second buff...

Finished...

Very nice gloss. I too love the Menz products. Also, just a quick FYI...my buddy lives in Buford. I visit him every year, and absolutely love it down there.

Yeah I am only 4 miles from the mall of ga. But though I am always trying to find excuses on getting out of this area, I hate it here! :har:

Good job, love the color, Menzerna polishes are hard to beat, they make you look like a hero instead of a zero :)

Makes me think. All this time I have used those other products or those times where M105 just pissed me off, these products just made buffing even easier. They work SO WELL. Going to have to stock up on more of the PF/SIP/SF and then order a bottle or two of 85rd.

Love that color but hate seeing those trucks when all that plastic turns that nasty gray color, they look cheesy then, but her looks like new, kudos.

I try to keep them dressed as often as possible to hold the fade back. But I thought I took pictures of the rear paneling, for the fade but did not. Like you said all hose panels are dam near white from fade.

that's a lot of 'real estate' on that truck, thumbs up!!!!

changing the subject, where's a good place to get menz..
