Minor scratches in metal trim

I noticed a couple of faint scratches in the polished, stamped 'BUICK' metal in the rear of my Rendezvous. I must have done it since I'm pretty sure they weren't there all along.

Polish seems inappropriate unless it's a metal polish?

I'd be very surprised if there's much you can do. Scratches in "ornamental brightwork" is usually forever With stainless steel you can do some effective polishing, but chrome and anodized aluminum, well, I've never been able to fix it.
