Minor Problem using 4* UPP

I've been having a modest problem with UPP that, I assume, is due to something wrong with my technique. I've got a Acura TSX, which I preped with AIO and a few coats of SG. Every few weeks, I add another coat of UPP. I spread the UPP pretty thin, via hand, and then wait about a half an hour to buff off. I notice, a few hours later that there will be streaks on various parts of the car. In spots, it almost looks a bit hazzy. So, I go over the car once with PB S & G, and that completely solves the problem. The car then gets that nice UPP wet shine.

What am I doing wrong?

My guess is that the UPP is not bonding well with the layers of SG. I'd pick one or the other and use it over AIO.

I think it's kind of hit or miss topping SG and Zaino, and also using either of those as a topper.

From what I gather, WG, EX/EX-P, and OCW are a little more forgiving.

Sun can play a big role with polymers. I like to put the vehicle in the sun after I have wiped the sealant off. It lets the oils thin out, and even up so you can give it one additional wipedown.

The beauty of SG is that its not an oily product at all, and you would think that its available to top. I would try a different technique, maybe add a little sunshine to the mix when at all possible!

What kind of QD are you using (other than S+G)?

Car Wash is NXT.

The only QD products I use are S & G and (as a waterless wash) S & W. I've used all sorts of stuff in the past though.

What is sort of odd about this situation is that one wipe down with S & G resolves the entire issue.

Very strange. Ever since owning UPP I have put it over half a dozen autopia sealants including SG with brilliant results however my bond and cure time is longer

After application of UPP, I leave it for up to 12 hours sometimes, usually three to seven

Once I never removed it and drove the car and let it bake onto the glass

When I washed a week later, it came off easy and is very slick finish
