Milwaukee Rotary Polisher

Yesterday, I polished my family car (Honda 2002) using Milwaukee 5460-6 polisher at speed 2 (around 1100-1200 rpm) with finishing pad and Menzerna 85 Rd final polish. However, for first time I found the polisher is jumping all over the surface regardless any hand control you apply to put the polisher back in course. I thought, first, that could be because me I'm not controlling this bear as it should to be. After, 5 attempts I decided to switch to the second polisher I had (3M polisher) and it was no problem and the polisher was smooth and controllable as it should to be. Any advice why I'm seeing this issue with Milwaukee.

I noticed bigger pads tend to grab more, that could be it, but then again, even 4" pads can grab at times. Look at how the polish looks on the pad after a few passes, this will partly tell you if the paint is dry and is soaking up all the oils in the polish. It tends to clump up in the center of the pad.

The polish was Menzerna finishing polish PO85RD. My approach was 2x2 area spreading the product first and polishing the surface at speed 2 (1100 rpm), pad was primed. I'm thinking about to do the same thing next week or so with smaller pads and see the result.
