Milwaukee or Hitachi Rotary the better buy ?

Besides warranty length which I am not so much concerned with because if either ever needs service item would still most likely need to be shipped out at my expense .

Both do have a 5 year warranty though fyi .

So question is between the Milwaukee 5460 and the HItachi Sp18VA(h) which would be the best choice and why ?

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the higher quality machines as I'm pretty sure they will all give you years of service. But isn't the Milwaukee heavy as hell????
 
That's 2.5 pounds heavier than the Hitachi and it will make a difference in your polishing. Especially when it comes to side panels!
 
TheFEIN Rotary, at 5.1 lbs, is a great tool (I have three). Quite pricey, however.



I also have three Chicago Electric Rotaries... at $24.99 each.



If you plan to have a rotary in your hands 4 to 6 hours a day, then the weight factor is very real consideration. I do speak from experience...
