Milky coloring?

Well, despite everyone's warning on not using the Black Magic Protectant on vinyl and rubber, I went and tried it on the door handles of my Pathfinder which are made in polymer/vinyl/plastic(?) and black. They looked nice first day and then the protectant dried out and turned milky. :(

Any way to clean this off and I SWEAR I won't use the Black Magic on this again!!!! It's going to the "File and Lock Away The Key" cabinet!!!!

I use Meg's High Endurance on my trim all the time. I just apply it real thick, let it sit for an hour or so, then buff with water.

To answer your question though, try peanut butter. Put some on your finger or a paper towel, then wipe it off. The oils in it condition and remove stains.

Thanks Volvoguy...I'll try that when I get home. Lucky enough, I've got a jar of the stuff for my dog cuz he absolutely loves the stuff!!!! I just hope he doesn't start licking the door handles and bumpers now!!!

So .... can we like post this over the door to Autopia: "Despite everyone's warning...."?

Read .... buy the e-book .... search .... why the heck would anyone ignore the accumulated knowledge of 10,000+ people??

Sorry, gang, but I'm in a lousy mood. Maybe tomorrow I'll delete this post.
