Microfibre leaves 'lint' streaks? Whats the problem?

Hey guys,



I have a newish, clean MF towel...Cobra I think. I only use this one for QD on a clean car, so it stays really clean, but I have an problem. I spray some QD (ONR) on a panel and wipe and it leaves a steaky fiber material behind. Kind of like lint...its the same color as the cloth. I thought MF towels weren't supposed to leave lint? Is the towel bad or do I need something different for this application?

Almost all MF rags will say wash before use. Who knows what it picked up in the factory, can only imagine a factory where 200K+ fibers go onto one rag, bound to be stragglers in the air landing on rags
