Just wanted to share my tag removal method for microfiber towels. The towels I am taking the tags off of are JT International Microtouch towels. Took me only 10 mins.
Tools: Very sharp razor blade and tweezers
Step #1: Place the razor blade at the edge of the tag where it meets the stitching that holds it in place. Make sure it is lined up at the holes where the stitching punctures the tag.
Step 1 picture
Step #2: Fold tag over the razor blade. When you do this you should be able to see the edge of the blade lined up with the holes made by the stitching. BE SURE to check that they line up.
Step 2
STEP 2a
Step #3: Now while holding the tag with one thumb against the razor blade, again making sure that the edge of the blade lines up with the holes made by the stitching, use your other thumb to press down on the opposite side of the tag (the side attached to the towel) SLOWLY allowing the blade to cut. Make sure the cuts are made where the stitching passes through the tag.
Step 3
Step #4: If you made your cuts right your towel should now look like this.
Step 4
Step #5: Slowly use the tweezers to lift an end of the remaining tag. MAKE SURE not to grab hold of any fibers of the stitching or towel or they will fray when you pull the tag out. Pull the remaining tag out either from the left or right.
Step 5
Step 5a
Step #6: Here is the finished product. As you can see from the first pic the tag was cut perfectly along the original holes made by the stitching. Also notice there is no fraying or cut fibers on the towel.

I hope this helps some people out. It wasnt as hard as i thought it was going to be. Make sure to take your time on the first few towels. Ive made the mistakes for you. This is the first time I've done this and it only took me 10 min after I made my mistakes on the first towel. Have fun and be tag free!!!
