 How a bout from Troy @ Detailcity or Steve @ POORBOY'S  :dcrules

shop at detail city and/or autogeek and apply any discounts at the time. Use your base on Cobras, Chemical guys, and lower end towels from Viking and Vroom. have fun.

Solid place to shop for top quality...MFT...I can only say one thing about buying MFT...buy the better towels they last longer and will do a better job over all

:bigups The above statement is 100% correct/accurate. :pxxxout:

I just bought 44 MF towels for $34 at the local family dollar store and they're not too bad. I use them for jobs that would otherwise hog up my quality towels from Poorboys world. There is a huge difference between the two types though. The Porrboys world mega plush towels are the best towels that I have. They are very soft, thick and super absorbant. In my oppinion the mega plush are much better at soaking up water than the waffle weave and leave an un scratched finish when finishing dark colors like black.

:cool:Dollar Tree has them 2 for $1. They are probally from China w/hi lead based paint though.:rofl:rofl:rofl I am still not sold on M/F GIVE ME COTTON!!! :dcrules

thanks guys i have looked around for good mft and i have come across a few online stores. i totally agree with you guys on buying the better quality for durability. Right now i am going to have to wait a little to buy because money is a little tight.

Here I go swimming against the current again :D IMO, with the current market of MF towels, you will not receive proportional gains in performance as compared to the increase in price. ***There, I said it***

The above is not to say that I won't purchase some of the new thicker/plusher towels. I surely will. I have an addiction. But I know going in that I already have towels that will do what those towels will do and I probably won't be able to tell the difference. That is not speaking poorly of the new generation towels, but rather the quality of the towels put out over the last several years. Additionally, you don't won't a super plush towel for every job.

There are quality towels to be had at every corner it seems. I've been buying mf towels from a variety of sources (online and OTC) over the course of this decade and I can't say that I have every purchased a towel that did not work, and that includes the "infamous" offerings from NicSand.

Of course in the end quality, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. Buy a few towels from several sources and make your own comparisons. Then you will be your own best reference about where the best deals are. Just be sure and tell us all what you bought and what you thought.
