Microfiber on leather question

Does the Dragonfiber microfiber scrubber pads ( they look like waffle weave) does any harm to the protected coating on leather by scrubbing or scrubbing hard or anything?

IF you put as much pressure as possible on the scrubber you could eventually damage the leather. For normal, day-to-day cleaning, the srubber will work great

Many years ago I purchased a Ekornes leather recliner. The care directions specified the use of cotton towels and not "microfibre" cloths. Granted, coated automotive leather seating is a distant cousin to the leather of this piece of furniture, but I still rely on 100% cotton toweling for cleaning leather and haven't had an issue. Particularly if you are looking for some "bite" I would opt for cotton over a "scrubber" material.
