you can use them with any polish really. The difference between this and the orange pad is the cooler temps and more even micromarring/haze, which is much easier to clean up with just one step afterward, almost eliminating the need for 3 step jobs

M205- will cut like a compound on most paints and leaves minimal marring. Easy cleanup with HD polish.

HD polish- I've only used this once as I dont do many one steps, but depending on the clear it looks great.

I didn't really care for the finishing discs either. The cutting discs finish down really nice with the right polish and even some compounds on the right paint, so I just use the cutting discs and if the paint is too soft, switch to foam to finish.

On th Rupes I used them with HD Cut, Kevin brown said he's been getting really good results with compounds/Rupes/finishing MF pads

I've been using the MF finishing pads on the Rupes LHR21 for my cutting step with D300, M105, M205, M101. On the Rupes they still offer exceptional cut and the thicker softer foam allows them to run very smoothly!

I've tried a few other compound polishes as well but the above are my most used.

It's interesting how you guys use the MF Finishing pad with light polish as well as cutting polish. Unfortunately I do not have a Rupes. I will experiment however with my HD Polisher and see what can work.

I like HD polish on a MF finishing pad. This is a 50/50 I did on a 2012 BMW 650i the other day. Just a 1 step and got really good results. This was on the Rupes 21.

So yesterday I decided to try using a MF finishing pad and D151 on a red Prius with light swirl marks. I was pretty impressed with the results. I wish I took pictures but when I was almost finished this dark overcast came and I was worried more about it suddenly raining and just trying to finish up. It didn't rain but I left 1/2 the hood for last to show the customer the difference. They were just as happy as I was. BTW I used my HD Polisher on 4.5 using 4 medium pressure passes and 1 quick light pass per section.

The way your singer moves, perhaps. Or how they interact with other members of the band. Perhaps you are amazed by how this vocalist handles a microphone.
