This week at Granite Auto Grooming detail studio we received our first ehancement detail this past Monday for Mfest 2012. This is Imola Red 2001 M3 Arrived very dirty and dire need of attention and some gloss-it love and serious paint correction.
Our new client, gloss-it fan and loyal Mfest member made a drive all the way from Alberta Canada thousands of miles away to attend Mfest:thumbsup:
We have documented the whole process showing how the gloss-it products work in action step by step. This detail & Paint Correction polish Process was very time consuming and required 2.5 days and 50 plus labor hrs to complete to repair heavy paint damaged consisting of heavy swirl marks, micro marring, hard water spots and severe orange peel..
Severe marring & swirl marks
Green tape indicates the deep white scracth's
2000 watt Light of truth to show hidden imperfections.
Wash Process begins before Paint Correction Process starts
Next step mask off car before heavy wet sanding & cutting begins
First step is to sand the hood and remove heavy orange peel, dust, and paint imperfections.
Time to Cut and Polish out the Wet Sand Marks with Gloss-it Extreme cut & Grey wool pad. 50/50 before & after.
Completed shot of hood wet sanded, cut & polished

Next ~ Final completed finish shots~
