MF v Foam applicator for waxing

Is there any advantage / benifit or other to using an MF applicator over a foam applicator to apply wax ( S100/#16/#26 and possibly PS soon )?

So far I have used the foam but I am contemplating an MF applictor or two...is it an actual step up or not?

The only difference i see Brendan is the MF applicator tends to absorb more product, hence you use more product while working. Although it is more comfortable to use, you do waste a bit more mate !
