well i was recently in the market for new MF's i didnt know who to go with there was so many choices, PAC, AG,Excel, Pakshak and so on. I know everyone here wants the best so i got a few from each just to get the idea on what i would want for later on. I got 1 plush towel from another member (thanks CutNAction):xyxthumbs and Dwayne sent me a free MF sometime in december. My order was through Pakshak i ordered 20 Ultra MF's 7 Ultra fine and 7 Ultra plush. heres some pics of what your getting when you purchase towels. It seems like the ? is more geared towards who has the plushest. Cause we can always find that general purpose towel.

heres the excel towel~this is a very plush towel for the price it sells for.

All in all i think im gonna order more in the future from Ranney and i plan on ordering a new set of MF's from excel.. Both these companies offered great customer service along with great prices. I guess this just gives you a general idea on what to look for instead of having to skimp back n forth looking at towels .

Trust me it gets boring.

My experience is that "plush" does not always mean "best towel". Often I've found that a plush towel has more difficulty picking up product than a medium grade towel. Sometimes the fibers are so long and so close together that the product doesn't "wick up" into the towel.

In general, I use my plushest towels for thin, easy to remove LSPs like NXT and UPP. I like a long napped, thinner towel for polishes like #80 and the Menzernas. I like the medium grades (like the regular Excels) and the short napped towels (like the Meguiar's towels) for removing waxes like Gold Class, #16 and Souveran.

Plush towels are good to have, but ONLY plush towels is not so good.

well i have general use towels too, ive used a couple of these already since the last post just messin around. And i think they work great! theyre a lot better than using the Costco ones i was using before.

Those Excel entry level ones I thought were great for interior, windows, and occasionally on paint. I bought about 30 of them at like a buck a piece so theres no way to beat that. They all of course passed the cd test.

The yellow supreme Excels are absolutely awesome for the price. I havent tried the Pakshak ones but plan on making a purchase soon from a couple of vendors, but based on reviews I think the Excel yellow supreme will stay my favorite for QDs and product removal.
