Hi there. The microfibre pads are stronger than foam pads, the amount of performance that the optimum polishing pads have - both in correction and
finishing down is incredible. I no longer use heavy, medium, light cut or polishing foam pads because of the Optimum cutting and polishing pads
however if I'm doing anything beyond a one step polish - say 3 to 7 step paint correction process, then I will always use 70 to 100 ppi foam pads for the
last few steps.
With my dynabrade 61375 and 85 heads on my rotary machines, the MF's can take out alot of nasty damage but I have another three pad materials available above them
(not wool) if the damage is incredibly bad. they finish down very well also
