MF Detergent and HE Washers

I have a HE washer and the manual warns against using non-HE designated detergents, as they will void my warrantee.

Are any of the MF detergents HE rated?

Thanks.

Old Man, I cannot find a definitive answer online or on my bottle of Micro Rstore. My OPINION would be it should be safe based on the small amount of detergent required (1-2 oz.) and the low sudsing nature of the product. You might contact our mayor John who carries three such cleaners and see what he knows.

To be honest, I've never been asked that question before. My best suggestion would be to contact the manufacturers of the machine. Explain to them what type of detergent you intend on using and for what purpose.

On Monday I'll try to dig deeper to get a definitive answer.

I have used Micro Restore in an HE washer with no excess suds or foam. Since then I switched to Charlie's Soap and it works just as well without the need for a special cleaner for microfibers.

I used Charlie's Soap some years back and frankly became somewhat disenchanted with the laundry detergent. I still have a small amount of the APC left over which I use as one of my pre-treat options and occasionally as the laundry detergent. I primarily use one of the "free" detergents, but still sense an improvement with a wash in the Micro Restore. I know Leo poo-poohed the need for a specialty cleaner, but I tend to rely on my first hand experiences.
