Metal Trim

How would I go about brightening up dull metal exterior trim? Would I have to use a metal polish, or would a paint polish also work?



Either way, do best results come by hand, or is using a PC a possibility?

Try using a good metal polish, like Mother's Chrome Polish, by hand.

So are you saying that the trim on the BMW is not really metal. Mine is faded and would like to brighten it up...

I posted a thread about the fake metal thing around bimmers... I was told to get a metal polish + wool pad. But that sounds a bit extreme as it'd be difficult not to have the wool touch the paint in that situation. Still looking for a resolution to this issue...
