Metal Polish?

I'd suggest you not use a metal polish on a coated rim. There are better choices, like Clear Coat Wheel Polish or a synthetic paint sealant.

On a chrome tailpipe, use a chrome polish. If the grill is chrome plated metal, use the chrome polish. If it's chrome plated plastic, I'd just use an instant detailer.

I've been quite impressed with Mother's ClearCoat Wheel Polish [I don't think that's exactly its name] on my Benz wheels. And it's pretty readily available at auto supply shops. While I'm applying it, it doesn't really look like it's doing anything -- no "bling" that I notice while using it. But when I get done, and step back, it's a gorgeous result. :bigups
