Mercedes E63 AMG 2-step correction detail

I did this car over a couple days out in Menlo Park. Paint was a little rough and very swirled up so it needed quite a few hours to brighten it back up.


Upon arrival at the customer's home...

Swirls and water spots

Old wax in the edges of the clear film

Powdercoated wheels looking a little rough

Soaking down with Sonax Full Effect for some thorough cleaning

Nice and clean

Pre-wash foaming

After stripping the paint down, it was evident the paint was in very poor shape

After compounding the adjacent area which was in identical condition

All final polishing complete and sealed with Blackfire Wet Diamond

Correction was on the GG6" with Meg's MF cutting disc with D300/101. Finished with 106fa on LC tangerine
