So being winter time up here in Mass business slows down a bit with the bigger jobs and coatings etc. But I still get the more normal daily driver details etc. This c300 is actually the second vehicle in the past week I have done for this client. The first was a 2015 Elantra that was going for a lease return this past week. He wanted the same treatment on his C300. Nothing fancy. No major correction work. Just a nice thorough clean up and some protection as he will be trading up in a few months.

Great result. I do not understand how someone could get in a vehicle that looks like that every day and drive it, wow.

Justin --
Thank you for SAVING this Mercedes from being towed away for violation of the Pure Food and Drug Act - that Interior - I think I got an allergic reaction just from looking at the pictures ! :)
+1 with Jimmiejam - stunning to find those that drive in that mess all the time and keep adding to it.. :)

You knocked out another awesome job, mi Amigo !
Thanks again for all that hard, perfect, detailed work..

Same here. My truck gets dirty with the kids and it drives me nuts!

Thanks bud! Appreciate your kind words.

That came out amazing, great job.

Thank you.

I don`t understand how people can be so dirty. I would open the door see that mess, and not get in. This guy needs to come see you weekly for maintenance cleaning.

Justins00ss- Well, of course you did your usual great job ;) Kinda fun doing white-over-black cars of high quality, huh? Like...just so rewarding seeing such a diff.

I gather there`s some genuine impairment issue in play, given its Before condition.

Wow. The first few pictures looked like a fancy farm truck.

Haha that`s funny!!!

Yeah this car will be getting traded in come spring or summer. But he already mentioned that he wants to come see me every 3mo. He wishes he knew about me sooner.

Haha. Thanks man. Yeah besides the Camaro I just did. My last 4 jobs were daily driver details. Which isn`t a bad change of pace. They don`t need to be swirl free. Just a nice thorough interior and a good wash, decon AIO and sealed. I don`t mind the occasional dirty interior. It keeps me sharp and from getting too comfortable lol.

Justins00ss: (and I guess the rest of you detailers, hobbyist and pros alike!)
Is it me or do high-end vehicles SEEM to clean up better because of the higher-quality materials that they use??
Yes, the seat leather may look worn and the vinyl kick-plates/panels will have their scuff marks, but after a thorough and proper cleaning and application of quality interior dressings, they still look good compared to some "lesser" vehicles with (a lot) less miles. Toyotas and Hondas come to mind. Not that they are "hi-end" but the quality of their materials and workmanship (engineering and assembly) lend themselves to that "quality look"
How do you know quality?? You know it when you see it (IE, it is in the eye of the beholder).

It`s funny you mentioned this. I notice that the carpets in Mercedes and BMWs, Audi`s clean up very nice.

FWIW, I find that carpets/fabrics/etc. in better cars clean up better, but most surfaces are about the same, including leather interiors of *vastly* different quality.

I never like working on some Toyota vehicles because their carpet is like the worst "holder" of everything than any other maker`s carpets..
They grab all that stuff that lands on them and will NOT give it up easily.. :)

Having done more German vehicles than any other marque, I would have to say that they all have higher quality interior parts than the others..
Their carpeting despite lots of Starbucks Venti/Trenta Latte` spills, cleans up really well with the help of my great Extractor, and life goes on until it`s time to clean it up again.. :)
Their plastics also seem to clean up and as you said, Lonnie, when treated with a good product, look even better..

Well here is another opinion/observation on daily drivers that are "thoroughly" (by a professional or hobbyist) detailed:
They clean up ALOT easier the next time , even if it is usually a year`s time for their thorough detail by me, the hobbyist.
My initial detail may be a 2-day event: 1 day for the exterior, another day for the interior because I am REALLY slow and well,OCD about how things are done.
But when the vehicle is returned to me for it`s yearly clean-up, it just seems to take a lot less effort to clean it up; usually it can be done in one 12-hour combined exterior detail & interior cleaning.

I can always tell if a vehicle has been" thoroughly detailed": look at the door jams and trunk/rear hatch jams. If the hinges are dirty, that is the first indicator. Then lift up the carpeting/panel to the spare tire well. if there is a lot of junk (dirt, yard waste, tree leaves) in the tire well, the vehicle has NOT been thoroughly detailed. (Good tip on examining used cars; you`d be surprised sometimes what you find in areas "nobody looks at that!", or so I was told by a car salesperson, who apparently thought I was a "nobody". )
