Mercedes Benz vs. Flex

I just hit my brother in law's C-class today with my brand new Flex. Here are some before and after pics. This is my first German car, and man that thing has a rock hard clearcoat (wished I would have had SIP). He did not have much time, so I was not able to finish the job, so he will come back another day. Did I mention the Flex rocks? I would have never come close to these results with my UDM and with half the time it took me with the Flex. With the Flex, the IP finished LSP ready, even without the 87MC. It really breaks down the polish well.

Process:

Washed with HD GS and Ultima Paint Guard Wash

Clayed with Clay Magic

Flex on speed six, Menzerna IP, orange pad

Looking good there detaildoc, you got to get some SIP and you will see what everyone is talking about. Looks great!:up

So you ran out of time for an LSP? Nice job, glad you like your flex! Mine should be here mid week. That lil benz looks lowered to me???

Boy that CC does look hard. You did a good job for being a little hurried. Looks like the flex came through in one pass. Awesome.

That's what amazed me about it. No final polish and no LSP in those shots. Next time he gets a chance, I will hit it with 87MC and finish with Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax. Yeah, that CC was really tough, some SIP would have been nice.

Ok, so he had to come back to my house quick because he forgot his wallet, so I got a chance to take a few quick shots under the halogens. They are not the best because the car was full of condensation (that I wiped off as best I could). He was in a hurry, but I told them the Autopians were demanding it, so he let me take a few. It was also hard to move around the garage with the lights with the other cars inside, so this is the best I could do under the circumstances.

Yeah, it is a bit lowered. It has a sport package which comes with a lower sport suspension, but I think the original owner might have lowered it a bit more. My brother in law decided to leave it like that because he did not want to spend more money to raise it a bit more (plus he is a young kid).

I think I need to get me one of the Flex things...I've been off the borads so long, I missed when this debuted, along with new Menzerna stuff!

The work on the Benz looks immaculate....BIG UPS!!!

i know what you mean with the UDM and the MB CC. it took forever for me to make a dent in those swirls. i def. need SIP too.

looks great

Good job that color looks very nice now!

Thanks! I think the color is kind of a weird red, at times under certain light conditions it almost has a bit of a pinkish tone. I don't like the fact that it does not reflect very much.
