This is a example how you turn a junker into a jewel. This is a 1967 Mercedes 560 SL that was recently in my shop for a complete cosmetic reconditioning.
The interior was sun faded, cracked leather, and extremely dried out, carpets were wet and mildewed .
The photos depict the before and after. filling cracks in leather , re dying and reconditioning the softness in the leather.
The rugs where pulled out pressure washed, dried and then re cleaned , using a dry cleaning method , that keeps the nap in the carpet looking like original . we did have to replace the center console carpet as it had a car phone there once which left holes in the carpet.
all of the wood was restored with a 3 step process of Plastic 210 polish for initial cleaning and then a coat of Maas Polish to restore the wood grain, then another coat of plastic 210 polish for protection.
Everything we do is in steps, it is a process that is time consuming , but the result's are worth the time. It is what keeps my customer's coming back
