I was going to do a side-by-side, using Collinite 845 and Menzerna One step Acrylic Jacket as final lsp, to see which had the most DURABILITY. Since I won't know the answer until after the winter, I was wondering if anyone had the answer now?
I would have to go with Collinite. I have not used Menzerna One Step but I have used FMJ and, while I loved the results (incredibly slick), I was disappointed with the effective life based on beading appearances. Within 2-3 weeks the beads went from tight little spheres to looking really loose & irregular ... like the broken yoke of an egg.
I get significantly better durability with the 476S. This is based primarily on side-by-side testing that I did on the Blazer over the course of last winter.
