Products used:

Menzerna PO85RD3.02, compounding pads with Top tool

Menzerna PO85RE5, polishing pads with Top Tool

Sealed with Cyclo CTI sealant

Concept chemicals contour tire dressing

Front windows polised and sealed with Res-Bona AGV(nano glass treatment)

Looks very nice! Those Audi clears are really rock hard. My previous car was Audi A3 in red, and rotary + #80 did absolutely nothing.

Menzerna is all I will use now.. I love it, and can trust the fact that it will look awesome every single time!! I love you..Good work on that car man

Yes, but.....what kind of polish do you use now, do you like it, how does it work, and will it work every time?

Nice work

Has any one tried the 3M SRC polish...I got a sample of last spring and had enough to do a truck...It did do a real nice job...it finished off very bright and smooth and did a nice job at swirl removal...

....I use the Menzerna polishes also....but as I said I got this sample and tried it...it does come very close to 106FF in the finish ....but what I am looking for is any one that has used it more then me and what do you think of it...cause it can be obtained cheaper than Menzerna

It does dust a bit ..but not bad...

Excellent job! :)

I've done more than enough Audis to have a lot of respect for someone who can finish one out as well as you did.

LandonZ, delete the 3 extra posts... :D

Porta, the Menz/Cyclo sealant approach is very nice.

Justin, the Top Tool is the Cyclo in plastic housing.

Thanks. I think you have to step up for the MG85 with these hard clear, but I havent used Meguiars for years.

Holy quad post!

Audi's are notorious for having rock-hard paint... PITA to detail; but you made it look easy!

It was a PITA until I found out the right combination, I uses this combo on almost every car with a hard clear. Works almost all the times. Danke.

OK.......that is awesome!

I'm loving this Menzerna even more. What is a Top Tool?

Menzerna is the way to go, cheaper then Meguiars here in Sweden :) You should order some of the new Intensive Polish.

Top Tool is a hand made orbital made by a 1200watt flex engine, with adjustable rpm.

Costs ~1000$ so it´s not a Cyclo in plastic housing. And I am using 135mm pads IE 5,3" so it goes very quickly compared to a cyclo who is using 4" pads.

Yes I do like the combination, have you ever tried the CTI sealant?

The Top tool is not exactly a cyclo in plastic housing, but the other one on the picture is a cyclo duplicate, sold for like $40 here in Sweden. Works like cyclo but with more noice and etc. Not the same quality but you can buy one cyclo or 12 of the copy for the same price.
