Menzerna question

I just purchased a PC Menzerna kit that contains everything from clay to FMJ. I was just wondering if the Menzerna line is "user friendly" or if I would be better off with other product to start out with.

My first project will be my wifes dark blue metallic '02 Stratus. Some scratches and swirls, but not terrible. The FPII and FMJ should make it look much better. That is if I can get the hang of the PC.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Lance

I have the Menzerna FPII and I haven't had too much luck with it removing any swirls and I'm fairly new to the PC.

I'm not sure about the rest of the products. I've had really good results with Optimum Polish and Compound.

Menzerna is very user friendly. FMJ is easy to apply and remove...just remember to apply thin coats (same with any sealant or wax)

FPII is a great "finishing" polish. Since it is a finishing polish, it might not be strong enough to remove all your swirls and scratches so you might need to move up to something like IP. The main thing when using an abrasive polish is to work it in completely to break down the polish.

If it helps I have polish break down stages and PC demo videos on my website: Paint Care & Detailing

Good luck!
