Menzerna question

I use IP & FPII in combination w/ Zaino and am pretty happy with the results. My question relates to the amount of product (IP & FP II) to use with my PC. My procedure was to use 4-5 dime sized dollups (sp ??) around the periphery of the pad, spread it around on a panel section, then start the PC. Yet, in one of the videos I watched, the detailer used what looked like a pretty generous double circle of product in the middle of the pad - certainly far more then I used. Am I using enough? While I was happy with my results there was still some minor swirling left on the hood which I attributed to poor lighting as I did this very early in the morning. I guess I have been used to "less is better" as per my Zaino experience. Thanks to all.

I'm also a Menzerna convert but a Zaino wanabee. On the horizontal panels I lay down 2 stripes of polish (4-6-8 inches long depending on size of the panel). On the smaller vertical panels I lay down an X or an O on the pad. I always use a spritz of water on the pad with Menzerna. After polishing, if the surface is still marred I will repeat the process 1-2X more.

4 dime-sized drops seems about right. 2 O's seems about right also. Both of course depend on the size/condition of the panel and if you are doing 1/2 or the whole body panel.
