Im going to clay first, and then use the flex xc3401 with a gold ccs pad menzerna powergloss, my question is can i use menzerna Final Finish or the Super Finish for the second step on a orange ccs pad
The gold pad(not to be confused with yellow) is a very ultrafine pad. The yellow is very aggressive. I would suggest trying the super finish on orange(which is less aggressive than yellow, but significanly more than gold) before moving up.
im with getcha . . . . . try powergloss on a orange or even a green pad first. Remember to always start with the less aggressive approach that way you minimize the amount of work needed as well as minimize the amount of clear you are shaving off.
After the orange or green pad then you can move down to most likely a black pad depending on the color of the car
