Menzerna PO85RD Question

Just got some menzerna polish sf4500. My question when used with a rotary does it need to go through a water wetting breakdown stage such as 3m's Ultrafine polish??

3m requires you keep the surface wet while using ultrafine machine polish.

this is what it states: Important: this product is designed to stay wet throughout the polishing process, and must be used wet to achieve a swirl-free finish.

Keeping the surface wet with product is pretty standard with most polishes(to avoid dry buffing), but because Menzerna requires a different workflow(breakdown) and alot less product mostly because of the lubricants. You only need 3 tiny drops on your pad really. You use alot more with UF and you can see the polishing oils sling off the pad while you buff.

Sounds like the KB Method isn't a big necessity with Menzerna.

Nope, totally different methodology actually. No need for pad priming and because Menzerna breaks down into a *plain* lubricant(pretty much) it gets worked differently. Spread at slow speed/no pressure>>turn up speed/add pressure>>apply less pressure>>less speed>>done. The best finishing polish out there!!

PO85RD and UNO are in a class of there own. Tied for me as being topps....
