Menzerna FP-abrasive or chemical polish?

Does FP contian abrasives like SMR or is it more of a chemical cleaner like AIO? If it's strictly a chemical cleaner, then I'm wasting my time using it before AIO. I'm looking to remove light marring.

FP contains abrasives. Try it if you want to remove light marring, but be prepared to move up to something stronger like IP or DACP or 3M PI-III MG, because it is fairly mild.

SMR is a different animal. It contains abrasives, but also fillers to hide swirls. FP has none of that. It leaves paint squeaky clean, literally. I can hear it squeak when I take it of with MF.

The real question is, if you use FP, do you need AIO? Some may disagree, but I don't think AIO is abrasive, but it is a whale of a cleaner. I just don't think that you need to get your paint any "cleaner" if you have used FP. I guess it does other things like sealing, protecting, shining, providing a base for SG, whatever, but we don't have a Mr. Z to call and ask. Personally, I love the stuff. I use it like ketchup. Easy on, easy off, no waiting. I'm just not always sure WHY I am using it. I use it on my wheels and under SG, UPP, even Zaino.

I still apply AIO over FP some my argue over that but I like the results. Unless you use Menzernas wax after FP it doesnt really matter.

when I use FP the surface looks like a mirror, can't imagine it getting much better so I just top it, usually with UPP or S100.
