on wednesday I left my small tub of Midnight sun in my wife CRV, its been hot all week. Yesterday I realized I could not find it and remembered were i left it. When I took it out the wax was semi melted. Didn't think much of it and brought it inside and it hardened again overnight, I looked at it and it looked a little weird but didn't think anything of it because it was solid again. Today I go to apply a coat of it on my car and when I pressed the applicator it all just crumbled, like dry cake..... I have a big tub of this also and here is some pics to compare. Again the small one has been inside all day and still never soft. Is this wax trash now???? Luckily its soft enough were I can now spread it on a pad, but will I get any ill effects from it??? like shine or durability..

It must have been hot where it was stored.

When you apply friction to it (such as loading it on a pad) does it 'melt' into the applicator or does it stay soft and crumbly? It looks like it may have separated due to the heat, and then settled according to weight. This separation will likely have a negative affect on the performance of the product.

It crumbles, Can I remelt and stir it till it gets semi hard?
