The formulas are different, but there is no practical difference that I can see, to the hobbyist anyhow.
I have QDs that I prefer, but I haven't found one yet that is actually bad. Pick one and stick with it.
Even with the ones that add shine and slickness, the characteristic fades in a day or so.
