Is it me or am i doing something wrong? Why is #9 so hard to take off after using with PC. I try not to let it sit after applied and it is very difficult to take off. Is this normal for this product? Other than that, #9 removed swirls very well for a badly swirled car. Any ideas what i am doing wrong? Am i using the PC too long? :nixweiss

You may be using too much product, a quarter-sized amount is what I use for a doorpanel-size area. Did you shake the bottle a bunch before using it? Is it cold out? That might affect ease of removal too.

Yes i do shake it well. Maybee the temp has something to do with it because when i used it, it was in the 60s. This is possible.

Also maybe the towel your using for removal .. some just don't bite enough. More likely tho .. too much product. I have used #9 on the 40's and no prob.

You might very well be working it too long. Mike P from Meg's has been saying to "remove it while still wet; don't work it "dry", keep the edge of your pad wet with product". Same advice applies to SFP.

Maybe I've got "first timers" good luck, but I used my PC for the first time last weekend and the outside air temperature gauge in my car said the temperature in the garage was 48 degrees. I used a drizzle of #9 on a Lake Country Yellow Pad and buffed until dry (highest speed was 5), then wiped what little haze was left with a MF I bought from Patrick, and the whole experience was surprisingly easy with great results. I didn't know what to expect seeing as it was my first experience with a PC, but the PC and #9 worked as advertised with no problems.

The car was washed with QEW and clayed with the Autopia clay bar, so there was nothing special on my paint prior to using #9.

I guess I'm saying that in spite of myself, things went well, so I don't know what could be causing you problems unless it is too much product. :nixweiss
