Meguiars White Wax

Has anyone with a lighter colored paint tried this yet? I saw a bottle at Wal-Mart for around $9.75 and was tempted to buy it (then I remembered the other 20 bottles/pots of wax in my cabinet).

i have seen reviews of the black version - they say it is kind of lumpy in consistency and has some fillers.

I've used it. First thing I did, poor it out of that stupid tube they're using. Horrible idea, and it applies way to much to the pad. However this product does rock, no photos handy at the moment but it really cleans and cuts pretty well for an AIO. I'd say its cut is like that of 205, so it helps in cleaning and removing minor stuff. I heard someone elsewhere say it was like Meg's finishing wax, but i don't know as I've never used that!

I applied it with a white pad, to a silver 2012 Camry, and the car was looking incredible and really knocked out some swirls in the paint I wasn't expecting it to. Some bird poop etchings too. Perhaps some of that is filler, I wouldn't know because I obviously didnt use IPA or the sort because its an AIO and you want to keep the wax part, but it took care of minor stuff really cleaned well, and the car looked amazing for a one stepper. Durability, we'll see. I haven't seen the car since I did It for a friend two or so weeks ago. So sorry about that!

Works easy, little goes a long way, you'll like it. :).

Both Black Wax and White Wax are cleaners, but the White is the more potent cleaner of the two, and by quite a bit. As an AIO it's pretty spectacular stuff, thanks to the SMAT abrasives in it. Yep, the same abrasive family as that found in M105, M101, M100, M205. You won't notice much if you choose it for a brand new white car, but on older light colored vehicles with embedded dirt it does wonders for cleaning up the finish. And those abrasives even shocked me the first time I applied with a DA and a polishing pad on a medium blue BMW - it removed something like 80%+ of the swirls in one go. As for durability, it's a carnauba wax so it's not like a durable polymer sealant, more along the lines of Gold Class. No reason you can't top it with a Meguiar's synthetic like NXT or Ultimate if you so desire.

I've been a fan of BF TPNS but I'm seriously impressed with how White Wax made my White Orchid Pearl Accord look after applying with a white LC pad. I'm topping it with BF WD and CS and waterless washing with Meguiar's D115 which is my absolute favorite new product.
