This is my first product review on the forums. I took advantage of the nice weather today and cleaned up my Jeep quick. I've used this product a few times in the past and it works well for being a product that can be picked up locally.

Product description taken from ACC site:

Protects and restores black and gray nonporous trim!

Restores color to faded interior and exterior trim

Dries to the touch quickly

Does not streak.

Protects and restores black and gray nonporous trim!

Use Ultimate Black to restore the color to black and gray interior and exterior trim. It cures like a wax to plastics and vinyl, providing unmatched protection and durability. Meguiar's state-of-the-art hybrid polymer technology seals nonporous surfaces under a clear coat-like coating. It dries quickly and does not streak in the rain. Meguiars Ultimate Black is perfect for restoring the color to faded, weather-worn exterior trim and interior dashboards, door panels, and moldings. It offers excellent UV protection.

12 oz.

I washed the Jeep at the local car wash since my hose decided to break. After returning home the only prep I did to the end cap was a quick wipe down with IPA. I did clean the product off the mud flap afterwards. From past experience this product did not take well to the surface of the mud flaps.

Pros:
- It does work well darkening faded trim
- Easy to apply and dries quickly
- From past uses it does not wash away in the rain

Cons:
- Lasts only for a few weeks then you need to re-apply

I will be ordering the Tuf Shine Black restore kit soon to try something that is supposed to last longer.

On to the pictures:

EDIT: 3 Week Update

Updated picture 3/30/13:

It has been about three weeks since initial application. The shineand darkness is no longer present. In the summer months with warmer temperatures I have noticed this product does last longer. Two days after initial application we had a downpour of rain for an entire day and the following week snow. I will be getting the Tuf Shine very soon.

Thanks for the review. Please update with pics to show durability. It looks great now but I am curious to see how it holds up.

Will do. Generally it lasts for about three weeks we are supposed to be getting some rain this week as well so I'll try to grab some pictures after the rain.

Very dramatic before and after...I'm looking forward to the longevity disposition.
Megs Ultimate line is pretty darn good for consumer products. Let's see durability.

I actually bought some of this stuff after reading this very review. I thought I would give it a try. So,......all I can say is, I like it. I think this stuff works great. I used it on the daily driver yesterday after she got a wash.
Hard to see in the pic, but I had applied it to the bumper step guards, the side mirror holders, front grille areas and the cowl. There is none on the door handle to give you a difference between the shine and non-shine. Not a great pic, sorry.
