hi guys...

im looking at doing a meguiars deep crystal 3step and was wondering if it is ok to subsitue the step3(wax) with a sealent such as NXT??

also would it be ok to apply the products with a random orbital?

my steps are as follows:

1) dawn wash

2) claybar

3) rinse

4) dry

5) meg deep crystal cleaner step1

6) meg polish step2

7) finish off with NXT

any suggestions??

my car is a 06 indigo ink corolla xrs 6months old and was wondering if i use 3m perfect-it glaze for dark colours i can remove meg deep crystal clean step one and meg step2 from the list.. im thinking of useing a medium yellow pad for a medium-light cut.. i got lots of feather like scratches from dust and snow.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to sub in Nxt for the DC3. And these products are just fine applied by an orbital or DA, such as the porter cable

If you use the 3M, you can probabaly eliminate the Meg's 1/2. However, I would recommend that you follow the yellow pad with a less aggressive one so that it will finish down a little prettier. Should finish well enough with a white pad.

Meg's 1/2 can be used with a PC and as someone stated, you can substitute step 3 for whatever LSP you like.
