Here is the best part -THE BAG. The G110 v1 came in a hard plastic case that was useless when the polisher was assembled. The new bag looks great, is made very well and has plenty of room for polisher, pads and polish and them some!

Here is a little video I did this morning.

I know the pad on the polisher looks bad but it IS clean.

I hope this will help you if your looking into a new dual action polisher. ENJOY -

What differentiates this compared to the Ultimate Detailing Porter Cable DA polisher? I was thinking of picking up the Porter Cable, but would be interested as to why you choose this tool instead.

I already have 3 of those bags through various other orders. And I agree much better than the plastic case. But what's improved upon with this version. I see a lot of others have been experiencing failures with their G110 but mine has been problem free since day one. Any more powerful and you might as well just use a rotary. What's the upgrade here? Better durability?

AG has it for $149.99. Says it will ship early Decemeber.

The speed settings on the machine are not the same as the old school Porter Cable.

Here is a video on the various speed settings on the G110v2.

I guess Meguiars is taking the KB method seriously!

My 4th G110 seems to be pretty stout, I can push down pretty hard when using #105 with a burgundy cutting pad and it still spins pretty fast. Seems like this one spins even faster still. Kind of disappointed it is still a 4.2 amp motor and there is only a 300 opm increase on top speed. Really don't see a need to rush out and buy one until I need another DA polisher.

Thanks for the great quick review Joe. Can't wait to see some correction.

Even with the XPPC my hands have taken a beating over the last 6 months.

Also how do you like the Racatac?

I love it. You havnt lived until you have been on a racatac and rode it down a steep 40 foot drive way!!! :woohoo:

Joe....

Like you my fingers are ratteling loosly from years and years and tons of miles on my PC. I have also tried the G110 which I thought was terrible, burned thru each one in a week.......but my PC's keep on ticking...

I am thinking of purchasing the new XPPC, actually 2 of them on the Black Friday deals that I found........

Whats your take, I certainly dont need more dead buffers on the shelf. Do you think that the new G110v2 has improved to the level that a Pro can depend on? Like yourself, I am no weekend worrior.....fulltime only!.....married to that buffer during the week!

I need a unit that will last, not burn out or die in 30 days......
