!!!!! Meguiar's Lab Sample "d"!!!!!

DAMN!! Sounds pretty good! I just hope it BEADS WATER!!! Please let it do that!! I guess I can just use a lot of Final Detail on it if not. I've been waiting for Meguiar's to come out with an awesome protectant (they have plenty of good ones, but not one that blows me away), and this sounds like it could be it.

I will definitely be interested in this. It sounds very intriguing.

P.S. Those Corvette shots had me missing my C4... Well, I'm sure I'll have one again (unless the CTS-V starts coming in red... Oh to dream...) :D

Mike,

Now that you have us all excited, how 'bout a ballpark on the time to market? No one expects an exact date, but are we talking about a product we can look forward to for next spring's "detailing season", or something further out than that? Or, should we just say Real Soon Now™ and leave it at that? :D

I'm totaly impressed ("this looks like the real thing" - and I thought it was only the English who understated things)

Mike, if you were considering giving out samples for people to test and report back on - be careful. Of the 50 people AWmark sent samples of Acrylic Werks to, only two people posted their results. Kinda sad.

Hmm, that is kinda sad... Um, ahem, I post a lot of reviews... :cough, cough:

Lab Sample "E"

Hey.. I even HAVE a red car to try it on!

I'll have to emulate the same conditions ie; RO-ZILLA and PC to achieve the same results to be in the same lab test as that is only fair and seems to be the proposed standard.

Documented step-by-step is also a factor to be within the same guidelines.

Lexus paint seems soft, so this plays a factor as well.

Anytime Mike... I'm a willing candidate! Nice 2003 SC430 at your disposal :wavey

Regards,

Deanski

Perhaps charge for the sample but offer a refund/rebate/coupon on the purchase of the product, when released. For those who test and post replies.

OK as nice as the cars look, I fiound it almost impossible to tear my eyes away from the garage itself.:bow

I LOVE the rack with the 5gal containers. Then the overhead power cords. Damn that garage rocks!!!!

I'd sure be willing to test it on my customer's cars if they would agree to it and based on what I see in that thread, they'd be begging me to try it. I have a particular blue Diablo in mind.... ;)

Looking forward to seeing this product in action.....hmmmmm....maybe tomorrow at the MB detailing event!;) BTW if you think those pictures are awesome take a look at this shot. Mike I hope you don't mind that I snagged this pic.

Hi Afshin,

I'll have to ask one of the chemists to mix up some more a.s.a.p.

I used up most of what I had on the two Miata's I buffed out for the Miata Detail Day at AutoRecon in Irvine this Sunday.

I'll push my chair away from the keyboard and head on up to the Lab right now.

Hopefully, there will be some ideal cars to try this product out on.
