Meguiar's Gold Class Clear Coat Prep?

What exactly is this stuff and is it safe to use? I found it removes bugs and tar stains really easily. I was washing my wife's car this weekend and she seems to hit every bug and bit of tar on the road. It was really bad on the bottom edges of both doors, real sticky impossible to remove stuff. I tried everything I had. Lacking any real "tar removers" I pulled the Clear Coat Prep out of my box of old detailing stuff I don't use anymore. I remember this stuff never really seemed to do anything when I tried it but figured I'd try it again anyways. To my surprise it removed every single stain and I could not see it making any scratches. :) Just wondering if anybody else uses this stuff or had any opinions on it. Probably not the right tool for the job but I had to get it done quick.

Don't worry after that I used AIO and SG on her car :)

I have a bottle of it and used it once. To me, it seemed to consist only of oils, fillers, and a smidgen of solvents for cleaning. The Gold Class Prep & Swirl Reducer was too mild to even remove the minor hazing from FI.

Maybe I should try it again, this time with more effort and better techniques. I’ll keep ya’ll updated…

I use it on my motorcycle,

It works , but You realy have to work it in , IMHO I think it will perform best with a PC (the bottle says it can be used by hand or machine).
