Kool thanks! Finally got an answer instead of someone saying hit the learn button which I already read about all I can read on all the topics. I just got some light swirl marks on my 02 Stang and want to make sure I start off with a low abrasion polish. I ordered the kit from Meguiars and that is the only other polish besides the Scratch X which I think is probably to abrasive for my needs. Thanks again man!
The DC polish, which is the step 2 in the DC system, is pure oil and no abrasives. The step 1, which is the paint cleaner, contains both chemical cleaner and very mild abrasives. Scratch X is fairly abrasive as its name implied--it's best for spot scratch removal rather than the whole car swirl removal. It does work on swirls, so you can give Scratch X a try.
