Meguiar's Color X question

Hi everyone,



Its time for me to detail my car again. I have not waxed it in a month. I am not entirely pleased with the Meguiar's Premium Paint Cleaner, #9 Swirl Remover, and two coats of Blackfire I did last time. This time I plan to keep it simple and use Meguiar's Color X. I would however like to top the Color X with two coats Meguiar's #16 carnuba. Is this a good idea? Would the two bond okay? Just thought I would get your thoughts on that. I plan to detail either Thursday or Friday of this week

16 on top of colorx is a good combo. However, if you weren't happy with MPPC, i would suggest using DACP followed by #80, then maybe finishing with #16. IF you are just going for something quck, colorx and #16 are good choices and should hold up for awhile.
