Meguiars BSP line-up okay for hand application? Scottwax?

I just bought some Meguiars DACP and SFP. The directions on the bottles recommend usage with an orbital or rotary buffer, but there's no mentions of hand application for it? So is it okay to apply and buff by hand?
 
...and also what cloth should i use to apply DACP and SFP? What should i use to buff it off? I plan to finish it off w/ S100 wax also. What's best to use to apply the wax?
 
You can apply the stuff by hand but you might not get the results you desire unless you are a certain Texan with robotic arms.



Use a foam applicator for the S100.

I use terry cloth towels folded into 1/8ths so I can apply even pressure. The main thing when using DACP or SFP is to work the product until nearly clear and dry. Obviously it is easier to do with a buffer, but you can do it by hand. I wipe off the excess with terry cloth towels.



S100 comes with it's own small foam applicator, but once there is room inside the jar for the larger Meguiars hand foam pads, I use them. I wipe off the excess with microfiber towels.
 
well

i was in the path of getting an engine swap into my MA70, buttt i totaled on late thanksgiving evening. =( So now i have a solara, a black solara with horrible swirls. I'll never wash my car with those stupid wash mits ever again! I suspect thats the culprit for the swirls and scratches.
