Hey Guys For auction cars and wholesale cars that you just wanna one step with a buffer or cyclo what do you guys think of #66 i been using it for about a month or two i notice its not so effective in the colder climate as in the summer time a little more hazey..and body recommend anything..for one stepping cars....thats as agressive as #66 and looks good....

i think that the chemical makeup of 66 makes it really good for oxidation, but thats about it...

I used to use it for onestep wash and waxes, but I may be switching to OPS from the results others have seen with it...I am getting a bottle of OPS soon from exceldetail, so once I get a bottle, I will figure it out after trying it out

I would suggest Optimum's Poli-Seal or #80 then quick follow with Aquawax or something. I wasn't too impressed with #66 and now I have a whole gallon of it, oh well save it for the horse trailers I detail :dance

You should also consider Megs ColorX. For the price it really can't be beat. Its great at removing swirls and oxidation and leaves a nice finish behind.

My business used cases of M66 for the same reasons: wholesale/auction work and one-step cars

With a Gem orbital and terry pad, it did OK at putting down some protection and adding to the look just a bit. The inexperienced staff used it on white, beige, silver, and cars that didn't need any rotary work.

With rotary, it'll do fine with one of their W8000 pads. We used wool for the ragged cars. Sure, it left polisher swirls, but the dealers didn't care. I couldn't care for the price. With wool, it would rip through oxidation quickly.

Actually, no matter the application, it's inexpensive, works quickly, and wipes quickly.

It also goes well by hand when polishing spots where a machine won't reach. It's what I use in door jambs as well.
